Dining in the vines.

Dining alfresco at one of the UK’s most beautiful vineyards.

By: High50

It might be too much to expect a repeat of last April’s warm weather – jumpers and blankets might be required this year – but the UK is about to enjoy an explosion of alfresco dining. And where better to enjoy wonderful  food in the great outdoors than at our favourite UK vineyard, the Rathfinny Estate in East Sussex.

As the country emerges from the latest lockdown, Rathfinny will be offering an array of ‘wine-filled’ experiences for customers to dine, stay, tour & taste, and shop on the picturesque vineyard.

Back by popular demand, after selling out last summer, Rathfinny will be once again offering its alfresco Vineyard Picnic Hampers.  Created by Estate Head Chef, Chris Bailey and featuring seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, the hampers include a three-course snacking menu at £25 per head.  You will also have the option to combine your food with Rathfinny’s wonderful Sussex Sparkling wines – the perfect way to enjoy the sunshine in the beautiful South Downs.
