We may be starved of the full cinematic experience, but the classic drive-in is keeping film fans happy during the pandemic.

The movie theatres may be closed but the cinema experience has been kept alive for film fans by the return of the classic drive-in. Socially-distanced by design, the drive-in format has been brought bang up to date with the use of the latest digital screen and audio technology.

The Luna Cinema, the UK’s leading outdoor cinema company, has announced its latest drive-in season, starting in April. It will featuring new and classic movies, shown on a high definition screen, at sites across the UK  including Blenheim Palace and Knebworth House.  Classic films will include Legally Blonde, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Grease, Back to the Future and Dirty Dancing. There will also be more recent releases including Rocketman, Joker and Knives Out.
